Seen today in Dorset, I think the Meadow Brown is ab.caeca having no white dots in the black eye patches, but have no idea about the Gatekeeper?

Never seen a Meadow Brown like that so this ab. can't be common. Even more extraordinary is the Gatekeeper. Aberrations are normally symmetrical but this one has reduced ocelli on the right side only. Bizarre!
