I found these two Wood Whites at Botany Bay, yesterday. The male was trying it on, but she was having none of it.
At first she was standing up to his advances:



He's on the left.
After a short while she began to look a bit worn down and fed up with the whole thing:




Finally he got fed up and flew off to try and find a female that hadn't been mated.
This was only my second ever trip to see Wood Whites so I'm very pleased to have seen this attempted courtship.
