Green Hairstreak on the Moors

My plan for 2007 was to see and photograph a few new species, first of which was the green hairstreak. It is very much an upland butterfly in Yorkshire so I travelled to Dallow Moor, near Pateley Bridge, where I found quite a few on the wing amongst the bilberry and heather.
