So we have finally reached the end of the Favourites threads for another year! This is the thread for those species which aren’t usually considered British/UK species but are brave enough or foolhardy enough to make it across the Channel or the North Sea.

As in previous years details of locations, dates, times and circumstances would be welcome as would any accompanying stories and anecdotes or other observations of behaviour and interesting other points.
