The skipper(?) was seen a week ago but I forgot to post it so any help welcome. The almost translucent moth was in the garden yesterday and was almost lost amongst the forty/fifty odd Cabbage Whites flying around like confetti! Again, any ID help appreciated.

I can see just enough of the uppersides to be confident the butterfly is a 2nd brood Dingy Skipper, Deborah.

Hi Deborah, the moth is likely a Mother of Pearl, Pleuroptya ruralis. It's a worn individual and the angle for ID is a bit tricky so not 100% certain.

Agree with both Dingy Skipper and Mother of Pearl.
