I think that's a miller, Acronicta leporina.

Its nice to see interesting moths on UKB ,here's another the photo was taken at the same location as the Euphydryas intermedia 2070 m Savoie, France.

Common Heath Ematurga atomaria. Often see these flying over the heather nearby. Females are much lighter.
