On that note - there was no saving this selection of Chalkhill Blues laid on for breakfast, lunch and dinner by this splendid Wasp Spider at Denbies on 6th August...

X rated stuff, but without the Chalkhill bounty, these impressive spiders might struggle to survive.

I assume she'd been subsisting on Marbled Whites before the Chalkhills appeared and a selection of other blues before that...
