For all those watching this thread ... I've now received confirmation from Adrian Riley that he's happy to be our guest speaker - so bring your book along to get signed :)

We're currently at 27 attendees, and the agenda is shaping up nicely:

1000 - 1030 Introductions (Pete Eeles)
1030 - 1100 Presentation 1 - Basic concepts (Roger Buchanan)
1100 - 1130 Presentation 2 - Equipment (Mike Young)
1130 - 1215 Guest speaker - Adrian Riley
1215 - 1315 Lunch
1315 - 1345 Presentation 3 - Technique (Maurice Pugh)
1345 – 1400 Presentation 4a – Digital photography (Pete Eeles)
1400 - 1500 Practical
1500 - 1530 Coffee/tea
1530 – 1600 Presentation 4b – Digital photography (Pete Eeles)
1600 - 1630 Show and tell (critique session)
1630 – 1645 Panel session
1645 - 1700 Wrap up

In addition, Lynn Fomison, Hants BC Reserves Manager, will be leading a guided walk down to Bentley Station Meadow, one of the Hants BC reserves. Tim Norriss, author of "Moths of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight" and the Hants BC moth recorder, will also be attending.

Cheers,

- Pete

Well done, Pete!

I shall get over the fact that "Contemporary English Poetry and its Role in Butterfly Conservation" is markedly absent from such an auspicious agenda!

Lunch arrangements, perhaps, require some elaboration!

Look forward to being there!

We'll give you a slot in the wrap up :)

Since we don't have any catering facilities available, I expect attendees to bring their own lunch, or scoot off to a nearby pub if that's preferred. Just be warned that we have an agenda to stick to so we won't be waiting for stragglers :)

Cheers,

- Pete
