Just to brighten things up, I went on a fungus sortie today to Santon Downham just east of Brandon in Breckland.
Plenty to see but unfortunately, they love the shade. So I had to use flash with some unnatural results. This example looks decidedly inedible. A real bonus was the Small Coppers. Every ragwort in the sun (but not so in shade) had Small Coppers, one small plant having four individuals. Jack
