Yes - But Pete is his worse critic! (Although I'm sure he means that he would like to have had fewer "highlights" - bright areas that loose detail. Would that I could achieve that all the time )

Looking forward to your next efforts Denise, tho' the last ones were v. good; tell the old man we are all waiting (or send him off to make you a DIY soft-box, that should keep him busy!)

I have tried and tried, but I just can't get the image that I want.
Too much glare and not enough detail.
Mind you super macro photography is something else. The slightest movement, (even breathing) can change an image.
I think that I could do with a polarized filter or something, and extension tubes.
I'll be the bigger person and admit that I am beaten here.
So my final image on this subject, (until it hatches anyway). Denise

To back up all the other messages just wanted to thank Pete and everyone else for a wonderfull day, learnt so much. Only problem now is the amount of money we need to spend an tripods, extension tubes etc. Thank you all for a truly inspiring day and to Gary and Lisa for the practical session
