Starting to get a lot of Bee flies about now. How come I never noticed this little guys, till a couple of years ago.

That's an amazing photo. I've not seen one from that angle before and so didn't know they had white patches underneath.

Nice pic. They can sometimes be a bit skittish so some good field craft there.

Here is a pic of a Oil Beetle, not a Bee, or even a fly pretending to be a bee. But I recently learnt that there Laval stage prays upon certain bee lava. But as you can see the adult, is very partial to a bit of grass.
