Starting to get a lot of Bee flies about now. How come I never noticed this little guys, till a couple of years ago. :?

That's an amazing photo. I've not seen one from that angle before and so didn't know they had white patches underneath. :D

Nice pic. They can sometimes be a bit skittish so some good field craft there. :)

Cheers Susie and Eccles. :D Here is a pic of a Oil Beetle, not a Bee, or even a fly pretending to be a bee. But I recently learnt that there Laval stage prays upon certain bee lava. But as you can see the adult, is very partial to a bit of grass.
