Some great things there Dave!
I think that today was a pretty good day in my SAD calender. For nearly a whole 24 hours, I haven't had one depressing through cross my mind (bar a couple of minutes ago).
I have been doing a spot of local traveling, London. There was the Excel Skills London 2008 Careers event that I thought would be great to go to. It is a drop in and you can find out about courses, careers, job skills, wellbeing etc etc. I heard it on the news yesterday night, and decided that was what I was going to do tomorrow (today). If I was feeling SAD I probably wouldn't have been able to cope with the amount of disruption to my journey a number of times due to engineering work and the replacement buses not coming, or maybe I was wrong!
Woke up early, normally Saturday + Early = disaster. But it was fine. Got to the station, where it was freezing. Here is the picture of me waiting for the train.

Then came the underground. I am never normally good with the underground at the moment, the levels of infrasound can be pretty high, and to me it smells weird as well, gets busy and then I have no idea where the edge is. So I get nervous, but I was fine. Here is the pleasing proof.

Here I am back on track of Skills London, admiting I am lost.
And I am usually very unsure on the tube trains as well. But once again, I was fine and I think there may be a smile. This was before I realised that this route will never get me to my destination because the platform was closed.

And my face being priceless when three routes out of four have failed. Basically the three easiest and fastest. Here I am stuck at White Chapel because the train terminated here as a change of plan half way through the tunnel

Found myself at the German Christmas Market on the South Bank, not that I was complaining or anything!

And then finding myself in Camden outside the coolest shop ever, Cyberdog. I couldn't appreciate the things properly, but the DJ was awesome. Not only could I hear the music, but I could also feel it!

Then, actually at Skills London half an hour before it closed. I have my pass and everything, don't know if you can see it. And I think I am also very happy in this one too

Then stopped of at Angel. Only because I was in my immature mood and wanted to go on the undergrounds hugest escalator. It was on the way. Some how I wouldn't totally agree with this one!

And then me answering the biggest question on the underground. At Angel, is it faster to use the stairs or the escalator? I ran up all the stairs and won! Very tired, but a winner nevertheless. Therefore it is faster to use the stairs if you can run up them all.

And finally back where I started!

And then back at home after walking from the station, telling my brother all about where I went.

So that was how I combated SAD for the day, can't say the same about tomorrow. Do you find that after one good day, the next day is alright?
