How do I post the image so its viewed full size instead of having to click and open it in an external link?

In a nutshell, you need to upload your image somewhere on the Internet - there are quite a few sites that allow you to do this, but I'll let others comment. Most seem to use:

http://www.photobucket.com

You then use the [IMG] tag to include your image in your post.

Here's my entry for June. I was tempted to put in a Heath Fritillary from the 12th or a Black Hairstreak from the 17th. But I think this Painted Lady is my best shot of the month so far. In fairly good condition and basking nicely in increasingly cloudy conditions on the 8th.

Had time to kill today at Glapthorne waiting for the black hairstreaks to show and couldn't resist this classic skipper pose .....

A pair of ss blues taken locally.

Large Heath at Meathop Moss 16th. Had to get wet to get this shot. Difficult terrain!
