Thanks Pete.

I also use a Canon 30D, but with a Tamron 90mm macro, so it's nice to see the settings others use. :wink:

I'm jealous. I had to spend this gorgeous weekend rounding up old relatives at my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary in Exeter. 12 hours in a car watching the orange-tips exploring motrway verges looking for females and not once could i stop and take any pictures.

Don't forget that you don't have to use it all the time!
