That direct link took me straight to an image of a male Chaffinch, Charles.

Is that the bird in question?

this morning i completed a long loop around Preixan. At the high points there were good numbers of Pashas zooming around. the other notable observation was NOT A SINGLE OAK EGGAR

As ever, I've enjoyed browsing through your images, Charles. You always seem to go to Aude in late summer though. I often wonder how much more you'd see if you visited in early July?

Thank you Charles for the last images of your gourmet butterflying trip to the Aude, in France.
You have nicely combined tourism, gastronomy and butterflying, with a pleasant patchwork of souvenir images.
If I need a guide for the region, I know who to consult. :D
Peut être guide gastronomique régional une fois à la retraite, hein ?
