Hi I have just joined the forum and am certainly no lepdopterist, I can probably identify no more than five species, but I was just having a look around and I found your story. I have never seen a Purple Emporer, and I don't know if they are rare in Switzerland, but I just wanted to say that your story made my day! Well done!
It was a very rewarding experience for me and I'm glad I was able to share it.
