I have a copy of the Collins Photo Guide to Orchids of Britain and Europe by Delforge, which states 'originally published in 1994 in French by Delachaux et Niestlé'. I suspect that it is likely to be the same book. Since then, there have been some changes in nomenclature, mainly brought about by DNA analysis, but it does seem to be a very comprehensive guide.

My favourite guide to UK orchids is the one by Anne and Simon Harrap, pub. 2005 by A&C Black, which uses the scientific names listed by Richard Bateman in 2005.
