I think we've just concluded that this technique isn't fool-proof, even when we know what the answer is!

might be foolproof in the UK - but it probably fails over the whole range of the species.
In fact, pics 1, 4 and 6 were SPBF, the others being PBF.
You both agreed 3 was SPBF - so here's the full picture - clearly a PBF:
And you both agreed 6 was PBF - again, this is clearly a SPBF:
