I think we've just concluded that this technique isn't fool-proof, even when we know what the answer is!

It might be foolproof in the UK - but it probably fails over the whole range of the species.

In fact, pics 1, 4 and 6 were SPBF, the others being PBF.

You both agreed 3 was SPBF - so here's the full picture - clearly a PBF:

Exactly how I would have ID'd them (and I've only had four glasses of wine :lol: ). So, perhaps, not so foolproof :oops:. I'm very surprised by No.6. :o
