As I'm sure you know, Spike is the vampire who ends up saving the world in the last episode of season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, having regained his soul between series 6 and 7. It's a very appropriate name, given that vampires have to die, be buried in the earth, and then rise again!
Do you know the sex yet? If it's a girl she could be Buffy...
