Awesome!

And we can add £258.50 to that total from the book sales. BirdGuides were generous, and WildGuides were extremely generous!

Cheers,

- Pete

Hi Gary/Pete,

Is the 2010 calendar still available to buy?

Thanks

Mine arrived, but my neighbour got both as they were posted to him as there was no name on the address, but he left one on top of our postbox. He still has one, so he may have thought eveyone on this estate got this or something (sometimes the whole estate gets letters or whatnot, sometimes with no name on them), so have to wait until he returns to get it back. Then I am sending one as a christmas present.

Sorry Dave, your address was too long to fit that, and your name on the address label.

Got my other calander back, thinking it was just a free calander that everyone around here was getting, and not wanting it, my neighbour, she put it in recycle bin! Lucky or I would not have had it at all if I hand't have found out.

Arrived back early this morning - calendars all here, many thanks, with no one "borrowing" or recycling any! Phew!

Calendar Girls

If The Women’s Institute can do it (film Calendar Girls), why not ukb?

There are plenty of attractive potential models amongst the ukb membership (or partners of members). And of course we have Lord Snowdons by the dozen to take the pictures.

Yes, Calendar Guys is another possibility. The Full Monty might form the template.

Great Idea Jack, but sadly 2011 has already been printed. I already have plans for 2012, but we could do it in 2013, :D bagsy not taking the pictures of Pete in his birthday suit.

Calendar Girls

I didn’t have in mind replacing the usual butterfly calendar but as an additional publication. There might be the potential to be a good money spinner for Butterfly Conservation. It would be in perfect taste. Photo Shop experts could doubtless append butterflies to the models’ attire (or the lack of attire) to ensure the appropriate level of decorum!

So Jack, would you like to claim the Small Blue... or the Geranium Bronze?

Sorry - I just couldn't resist.

I am actually being semi-serious with this. It is a money-making idea that would be a lot of harmless fun.

Let’s hear what the girls think. And those bronzed Adonises will surely be jumping at the opportunities for fame!

Some who are perhaps a little embarrassed about appearances might like to consider this:

The more affluent would no doubt find something more stylish here:

Very nice Jack. As a loyal customer could you get us a discount..?

Considering the type of calender though, perhaps we should consider mirkins...

Felix.

This is me so I might need Grecian 2000 but not a wig (well, only a little one).

Mind you, I could model for FatManClothes.com.

No, regarding the wigs, I was thinking in particular of one of our Hampshire correspondents.
