This is my favourite bit from a spledid report David:
there was still a goat-herder, who I immediately gave 15 dirhams to in order to assure we were largely left alone
According to Google,15 dirhams equates to 1.18 Cymru £££.

Correct, Jack, although in terms of local 'buying power' it is probably worth at least four times more.
