It's worth pointing out that the Large Tortoiseshell images posted from Horseshoe Plantation (Beachy Head) on 7 April (Danny McEvoy and Paul Stevens) and 6 April (James W) comprise at least two individuals (males).
Also, a nice male in Abbot's Wood (Hailsham) on 7 April by Bob Eade and Lisa Saw - as yet to hit the web pages.

Just had a look at the Kent Butterflies facebook page ,and i reckon its been removed ,so had a look for the "Richborough roadside" video on Youtube ,and sure enough its there ....................for 2021 ! a bit odd that .................so disregard my post ! Sorry about that !

For all this year's reports so far, I haven't seen one that's spanned two days. Is that likely to be the lack of a return visit from the original finder, and no follow-up from anyone, or is this species notoriously "in and out?"
