then finally, the first wild Birdwing I have ever seen.... and what a beauty...

Nice finale, Kip. Glad you got to see a birdwing, although the one I'm most envious of is cethosia cyane, the Leopard Lacewing. Beautiful insect.

This only reinforces my resolve. Once things return to something like normal, I will re-embark on my travels with even greater determination.
