That is quite shocking, John. I've never witnessed anything like that. :(

maybe it was the "polite" remonstration...... i want to know why you didn't find the nearest tripod, wrap it round their head. obviously needed some sense knocking into them. for treading on the caterpillar that is and not chasing after the moth :wink

 I'm sure Susie would feel as much anger as the rest of us, but possibly not find the nearest tripod, wrap it round their head and knock some sense into them. Perfectly acceptable behaviour, clearly :)

:) ooops ... did i say that out loud :) i thought it was one of those clips like in the movies where you stop dreaming and just end up saying "look where you put your feet" :D
mind you if you asked nicely i'm sure they would have lifted the shoe so you could get a closer look :) (i'll get my coat and leave the thread well alone from now on)

Chris

p.s. I do not condone violence ( unless it's to dog walkers who hang up the poo bags) ok ok i'm going :)

I might have used the tripod as a weapon if the picture-taker had had one but the camera only boasted a 300mm plastic, third party zoom lens that can be bought for £99 on EBay - that's probably why they needed to get so close. Mind you, the camera was a Canon 5D.
