Please, what is this incredible moth, seen this morning at about 200 metres altitude in the Alpes-Maritimes? When I saw it I thought I must be dreaming :o :o :o .

It's The Passenger Dysgonia algira. It occasionally turns up in UK moth traps, so perhaps your daytime photo is quite remarkable.

Here are two more moths for identification, please. Both are in the Alpes-Maritimes at about 200 metres altitude.
The first measured 20 mm. wing tip to wing tip

and the second 12 mm. wing tip to wing tip.

The first is something along the lines of Small Dusty Wave - one of the darker of the Idaea species, anyway. The second looks like the micro Pyrausta despicata.

I've yet another moth for which I would appreciate the identification. It was seen in the Alpes-Maritimes at about 200 metres altitude, and was about 3-4 cm. wing-tip to wing-tip.
