Good eh!
Absolutely, agreed :D

More of the same close to home today, another thirty plus butterflies over several small areas. Predominantly Small Tortoiseshell but also Red Admirals, Peacocks and Comma.
Overnight rain giving way to a sunny albeit windy day tomorrow so i'll be off to find some sunny spots sheltered from the NW winds :)

Two locations today, the first drew a blank ........ the lack of the forcast sunshine might of had something to do with it
Headed over to the coast for the second location, a stretch of coastal path situated between Seaton and Looe in East Cornwall by then the sun was shining :D . There are a few fields to pass through on the walk down but they produced little or nothing today due the strong wind. Further down and on the coastal path there were reasonable numbers of Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock but the big surprise was finding two Wall  didn't see that one coming, in fact after seeing the first i had to check the flight period  ....... and doubted it even more
Thankfully i came across a second further along the coastal path and fortunately managed some record shots without getting too close :D

Wow! Wall Browns in March.

That's a proper little micro-climate you've got there, Paul.
