I've just returned from Roses in Catalunya which is about 150km north of Barcelona where I snapped the following butterflies. Any assistance in providing identification would be appreciated. Some of the pics are a bit naff for which I apologise. The first three are skippers (not the same butterfly) but, unfortunately, I've no underside shots and the best specimen is the worst pic.
The next pics are, I think, Speckled Woods and a Small White.
The next image looks like it may be a Fritillary? Again no underside.
Finally some Blues. The first three I've no idea, the rest I'm guessing are Long-Tailed Blues (the last two taken in Barcelona).
Any assistance for positive IDs greatly appreciated.
Kevin.

Re: ID Help Required
Hi Kevin. Your first three are mallow skippers, Carcharodus alceae. The next, as you say, are speckled wood and small white. The one like a fritillary is a wall, Lasiommata megera. The first two of your blues are Lang's short-tailed blue, Leptotes pirithous. The third is a common blue. The last three are all Lang's short-tailed too, but with their tails intact!
