Can Somebody ID these Moths Please?

Post by Paul Harfield »

Hi

I spotted these moths over the weekend. Can somebody identify them for me. The white one was particularly nice looking and is one I have not seen before :D

I think the first one is a Small Phoenix, Ecliptopera silaceata, and the second one is a Clouded Silver, Lomographa temerata. I am afraid I haven't a clue about the third picture!

The last one looks like a male Adela reaumurella. A. cuprella is the other possibility but is more golden and a lot less common.
