Has anyone been to Cuba recently and can advise about what can be seen there?

By my reckoning, Maverick is there now:

If you've got time before you go, you should be able to pick up a copy of Riley's Butterflies of the West Indies. As Nick says, it's out of date, but it still gives you a very good idea of what to expect - and books are much better when you're abroad than relying on the internet... Other than that, there are various lists of Cuban species on the web. A small number of these are endemic, and depending on when you are going it might be fun to target one or more of these! I have the flight times &c. so can help narrow this down.
