Plume Moth & Thorny Plant Help Please
Could somebody confirm what species of plume moth this is please. Spotted in the garden today. Is it Emmelina monodactyla
Also can anybody identify this very thorny, 2 metre high plant please, seen along a local footpath today. Could it be Acacia it looked very out of place
Re: Plume Moth & Thorny Plant Help Please
I'll second the E. monodactyla.

It could be Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) if you do a search on that and add 'thorns' onto it the images seem to match yours. So it looks like you were in the right area.

Thanks for the suggestion Mike but I think Nigel P has got this one. Black Locust looks like the right id. Many thanks
