Hi Michael,

I think it would be best if you could be more definitive about the wing shape. You've said that:

"the wing shape was like a cabbage white, broad and rounded"

"it was the size and shape of a camberwell beauty"

Since a cabbage white and a camberwell beauty have very different wing shapes!

Cheers,

- Pete

camberwell beauty has indented wings but the size and overall shape are similar, in my opinion

It could be an escaped Hypolimnas bolina - Common eggfly.
The female has the colours that has been described.

Hi mickelrosy,

I've been following this tread with interest. I haven't a clue what you saw, but try this link that Andrew R suggested to Common eggfly. Hope that it helps.

What we need is the Microsoft Mind Reader, as reported inNew Scientist on 15th October this year:

"Microsoft mind reader

Not content with running your computer, Microsoft now wants to read your mind too.

The company says that it is hard to properly evaluate the way people interact with computers since questioning them at the time is distracting and asking questions later may not produce reliable answers. "Human beings are often poor reporters of their own actions," the company says. Instead, Microsoft wants to read the data straight from the user's brain as he or she works away
..."

Wouldn't we all love to download those pictures straight from your mind, Michael!!
