Winter get together

Post by Susie »

Would anyone be interested in an informal winter get together? I think Pete has wonderful ideas up his sleeve for a more organised gathering next year but in the meantime it would just be a chance to chat and reminisce over the excellent year 2013 has been.

I have Saturday 30th November in mind at the same location as last year.

From the feed back I have received people enjoy the informal drinks more than the sit down meal so I am not organising anything. If people want to go and eat they can order bar food or break off from the main group and have a meal in the restaurant area (or even go elsewhere and come back later!).

So, basically turn up between 1pm and 5pm and there should be at least some of us there.

Hi Philip, I look forward to meeting you and your wife as well as the other attendees again. :)

I feel I should explain that Philip kindly gave my daughter, Elizabeth, a great many wonderful books as she has a place to study veterinary medicine starting in September.

Hello folks, been a while!

Sami and I would quite like to be at the bash too, if that's alright? (I know we haven't exactly been active on the forums of late  )

Be great to catch up again though!
