CF Cards and Colour

Post by David Tipping »

Do different CF cards give a different representation of colour in the way that different films do? I ask because since switching to my new camera (and of course new CF) I've noticed that generally speaking, the greens in the background seem a little darker and have less of a yellow tinge. I've attached a couple of examples for comparison - the common blue was taken with the new camera.

I would suspect that the new camera is the culprit...not the CF cards. All a CF card does is remember a load of binary code...it's the camera that tells it which code to remember.
