I quess come next summer, the 20D is going to be a back-up.

I'll be replacing my dusty sensored 300D with one! Why do they always release these things just as the flutterby season is coming to an end???

Because they know that you will want to use the winter period to become familiar and expert with the thing come spring!?

Oh dear, the new Nikons make the week old Canon 40D look obsolete... :D It seems Canon got a bit complacent(sp?) and Nikon caught up.

I splashed out on a 40D recently really pleased with it :D Bit late for the butterflies but cant wait to next year. At the mo using it at Chester zoo . The handling and high ISO performance are why I got it
