Updated sites

Post by Pete Eeles »

Another minor enhancement ... all the site information has been "cleaned up" (although there are still a few errors lurking in there, I'm sure). The main change is the inclusion of subspecies name, taxon type (form or subspecies) and linking to both GoogleMaps as well as Streetmap, mainly to allow more-detailed maps of Ireland to be shown at the click of a mouse. GB example here:

http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/sites_ng ... ?ngcode=SD

Ireland example here:

http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/sites_ng ... r_name=All

As ever, comments good and bad welcome :)

Cheers,

- Pete

The pages in this section have been in need of a review for a while and they now look great in the new format :D.

I will be checking the information displayed for my local sites and will report any corrections or updates. Perhaps other members can do the same for their sites in order to ensure that the information contained is as accurate and up to date as possible. Note that some sensitive species will not be shown on sites where they are deemed to be vulnerable.

Thanks Vince.

Yes - there should be no sensitive sites or species listed. Any amendments please email me directly: pete@ukbutterflies.co.uk since the site listings are now "locked down" :)

Cheers,

- Pete
