Happy Birthday Pete!

Post by Susie »

Now, I may have the date wrong, but I have a feeling that Pete is celebrating a very special birthday today and I couldn't let the day pass without wishing him a very happy birthday and many happy returns! :D

Well done Susie!

Many happy returns of the day, Pete! This is probably as good an opportunity as any to thank you again for creating and maintaining this marvellous site - we all owe you a lot! I'd like to buy you a pint of beer to celebrate but I guess that will have to wait for the moment ...

:D :D :D

All the best,

Guy

And I'll buy Pete and pint on your behalf, Guy, at the social in a few weeks. Shame you can't be there as you're such a great part of this forum.

I'm assuming Pete is 50?

Irrespective of longevity milestones, Mr. Eeles deserves all his plaudits for creating/maintaining/publicising/improving this website alone.

Time to doff the cap.

Pete, thank you for all you've done.

Thanks for all the kind words and compliments everyone! Yes, the big five-oh is today. And I think, when you get this far, actually having a birthday is the most important thing, given the alternative :)

Cheers,

And a Happy Birthday from me too Pete.
I shall buy you a birthday drink also.
I think you may need a taxi or chauffeur to get you home from our get together in a few weeks.

Roger

Many happy returns, Pete.

It was my birthday last week and I got this card from Lily, my four-year old grand-daughter. I’m told it’s a very good likeness.
