Post by Susie »

Tonight on BBC 2 at 9pm, this programme could be worth a look or recording. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01ntt8p

I missed the first half because of "Have I got news for you" but the second half was great. Does anyone know which butterfly house he was in - it looked like it could have been the one at Bristol Zoo?

Have a goodun

I really enjoyed this.

It was easy watching, whilst at the same time put an important message across.

Some new and very interesting creatures featured - can't say I've ever come across a Solenodon or an Olm before ...

Cheers for spotting that Mark - I'd prefer a Pangolin, it would look good hanging from the curtain rail :D

Must admit, I thought that the quoll was by far the most engaging creature. They are simply gorgeous.

Bit disappointed that the Birdwing butterfly got less airtime than any of the others.

I agree, it is a shame the butterfly got barely a mention compared to the other creatures :(

That Olm is certainly a strange beast. Did I imagine it or did Mr Attenborough say it can go without food for 10 years and live for over 100 :?:
