WHAT ARE THESE?

Post by Paul Harfield »

Can anyone identify these for me?
I have 2 or 3 of these larvae in the garden at the moment some feeding on Cranesbill and some munching Crocosmia leaves.

These very small moths I found on Friday along my local footpath. There were up to 8 on this one flower head in very cool conditions.

On days when there are no butterflies around one has to find other things of interest :D

Your photo of a caterpillar is the larva of the moth Knot Grass.
All the best, Nick.
