My Big Butterfly Count Challenge

Post by angellightphoto »

At the start of this year's (2012) Big Butterfly Count, I set myself the challenge of finding, photographing and Blipping (blipfoto.com) a different species of butterfly (or one of the two eligible moths) for each of the 23 days of the count.

These are my results: http://blog.angellightphotography.co.uk/?p=649

All images Nikon D700, 105mm Macro lens, manual exposure, handheld, natural light.

Yes,welcome to the site. And what a great place you live in, the Isle of Purbeck! In the best county in GB for butterflies! Keep us informed of all that happens down there. Cheers. :)

Thanks. With this year's poor summer, I am not sure that I would have succeeded in any other county. Dorset is a naturalists paradise and, living here, is a privilege we never lose sight of :)
