Sorted these Dewy Ringlet shots out from the Queyras... not an easy species to get good photos of judging by past experience, 'cos they flop on forever, despite always looking as if they're just going to ground.... this one behaved itself
also this is a somewhat interesting view of purebred Alpine Heath, showing some upperside whilst still alive!
Thank you for the compliments... we generally did quite badly with erebia again... and when we did get a well behaved one it was usually Almond Eyed.... yet how could that be a disappointment!!
