Moths at Denbies for ID

Post by millerd »

Here are a couple of moths seen at Denbies today. One is some sort of Plume moth, but I have no idea about the other, of which there were many.

Any ID gratefully received for my Moths folder...

Pterophorus pentadactyla and possibly Scotopteryx chenopodiata.

Thanks, chaps. I was going to ask whether there was an English name too.

The quickest way to find that for moths is probably http://ukmoths.org.uk/.
