Plenty of nice fresh Grayling near the blast furnace today. This one was hiding on a nice bit of slag.

Hi David - just so that I know. Is this a serious entry for the photo competition?

Cheers,

Yes it is Pete. Granted it's a bit different, but there is a butterfly in the photo and it won't get me less votes than my entry in the June competition!

I was invited to 'rencontrer des femmes chaudes dans la région de Gurnigelbad'.

I've never been to Gurnigelbad but I guess it must be a thermal spring...

Guy

(Oh - and nice hairstreak shot, too!)

Guy, I'm sure that must be the case (unless your reputation precedes you!)

Peter! What sort of site are you running here? :D

Praise be ... two cracking shots of two very fine butterflies. Common is good. We'd miss 'em if they're gone. To my eyes, the "Common" Blue is every bit as beautiful as the Adonis Blue. Praise be it's so widespread and common.
