Not seen one like this before. Sitting on the kitchen window sill.

That's a Green Carpet moth (Colostygia pectinataria) Neil. Lovely little insect

NB: There are a lot of different types of "carpet" moth, but the name doesn't mean they'll eat your carpets

It is just a general name for moths of that family with similar shaped wings which come in various colours and patterns.
