Glanvilles at Sand Point

Post by wavelea1 »

Friday 25th - weather warm and sunny but with a fair northerly breeze. About 10 newly emerged Glanville Fritillaries observed at Sand Point so worth a visit but sadly no Wall Browns. This is the second year I've failed to see any.

You must have missed the 3 I saw on Saturday then (unless they only emerged that morning). There were two up on the top of the hill near the craggy rocks as well as one in the car park!
