This is the subspecies hibernica (found at Oxford Island, Lough Neagh, NI) and I noticed the spots are smaller than on a typical OT I have seen, could it be an aberration? I am unsure about aberrations in subspecies like this. Here is the image:

No idea about it being an ab, Dave, but he does look weird with one wing tip in the sun and one in the shade - A Yellow and Orange Tip!

haha yeah. In some light I have noticed the males have yellow-orange tips and other times orange tips.
