Gardening discussion forums

Post by Matsukaze »

Hi All,

I'm just in the process of moving house and find myself with a considerably larger garden to maintain, with lots of new and unfamiliar plants already in situ and different types of soil and aspect to that which I am used to - can anyone recommend a friendly discussion board I can go to for advice? I think a lot of my questions would be far outside the scope of this site...

Hello
I can't suggest a forum as I havn't ever found one that I would find very useful. But as you have just moved in and will probably have a bit of time finding out what is already there, it may be an idea to join the local Wildlife Trust, most of which have wildlife gardening groups who will know the local soil types, wildlife etc. plus maybe get hold of some choice plants.

During the first 12 months it wil be interesting to watch the garden and see what grows. You may also enjoy photographing it through the seasons.

Have you tried these forums:

How exciting , have fun.
