hi
just thought i would let you know that i visited ynys-hir a couple of days ago to photograph the marsh fritillary but was told by the ranger that it hasnt been there since 1971 and no records of the pearl bordered in the last 5 though you might want to know so you can update your records
was directed to rhos pilbach were there must be close to 20 had a god day and bagged a couple of nice shots

Thanks Eric - I'll update accordingly.

I've mentioned this in other posts, but I hope you haven't been too put-out, and I'd encourage anyone planning a major trip to double-check any site info before they travel. Much of the information I have has been "donated" by well-meaning visitors. However, it's not always as reliable as we'd like!

no no prob had a great day as you know its just great to be out i think the site and info is fantastic have had great sucsses because of the site and have directed many people to it at any chance i get in august the outdoor photography mag is pub a small portfolio of a mine great thrill i asked if they could plug the site gave her the web adress so fingers crossed the site gets a mention
