First photo with my new Canon PowerShot S100

My new S100 arrived this morning. This afternoon I went for a stroll with my wife and the S100. And my wife spotted the only butterfly of the afternoon. It turned out to be a Bath White. I nice way to start out with the new camera. This is one of the photos I took.

Nice February butterfly! The Alpes Maritimes are obviously further advanced than Switzerland (first Bath whites usually in March).

I'm another Canon Powershot user, though I think yours is a better model than mine...

Super photo Colin, look forward to seeing lots more taken with your new Canon Powershot S100. I bought it's predecessor the S95 last year, I've only taken just a few butterfly images with it as yet, hope to take more this year.

I'm glad to find another Wales rugby supporter on UKB, tremendous game right to the wire, still two tough matches to come with home advantage though, here's hoping!
