Hmmm ... that brings back memories ... does not appear to have changed much which must be a good thing...

Would that be a certain JH who once flew "Fat Alberts" out of a Wiltshire locality?

It's 30+ years since I last visited Whixhall Moss ... remember it well because I got my car bogged down on the soft turf. Had to get a local farmer with his tractor to tow my car out to firmer ground! Cost me a 50p Tip.... mind you that could fill half the tank with fuel back then so it was not a small tip.... Oh yes, plenty of Large Heaths and a few Whinchats also seen that day as well as other interesting stuff .....

Indeed it is the same Jack Harrison, now retired military and airline pilot.

Drop me a note to:
jack.harrison@gmail.com

By the way, I had incorrectely spelt Whixall as Whixhall (with a second "H")

Ahah! A positive ID of another enthusiast  We had a few field trips together when you lived in Winchcombe back in the 1970s. Yes, I did notice you were generous with the additional H ... Will be in touch... John over and out .. :)

Still struggling. Were you an accountant working at Gloucester? With a big motor bike? Or am I mixing you up with someone else? Do get in touch.
