Hi there, I'm intending to buy Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Olympus for my Olympus E-450 for some time.
It's such a rare stuff so I have to search it more worldwide. So that your tips with a good (cheap) buy are most welcomed, bazaar or brand-new.
Also, feel free to offer me any alternative solutions that crosses your mind (including comments how atrocious is the macro lens choice for Olympus).
I'm gettin' scared
Marek

You are correct - it IS a rare beast.
I found only one on E-Bay - No. 200703975397
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200703975397? ... 3D1&_rdc=1
It is no longer listed in the Sigma UK site (for Olympus at least).
Good luck.

Re: Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro Olympus
THANKS
It looks incredibly cheap. Or incredibly worn. It costs 400 - 450 GBP here in the Third World market
Oh, time to get used to eBay.

I bought this lens on ebay and paid a bit more than that for 'used', for my Nikon.
I have been very pleased with its performance.
Cheers, Peter

The guy refused shipping outside UK.
So my personal war continues.

if I had a 4/3 body to test it on before onward posting I would offer to buy it on your behalf.
Perhaps somebody else may be able to do so?
The other thing to consider is that 4/3 to all intents & purposes is a dead mount - maybe consider going micro-4/3 or switching to Canon/Nikon/Pentax/Sony?
